Cavities can reappear on teeth that have been crowned, right?

I have a tooth that recently received a crown, so I am taking extra care of it.

I heard that the crown itself doesn't get cavities.
I also heard that there can be problems where the tooth and the crown meet.

Then, do I need to continue brushing and flossing like I do with normal teeth?
I am wondering if I need to pay special attention to regular checkups as well.

For those who have been taking care of their crowns for a long time, what do you consider most important?
