Is dense breast tissue dangerous?

Since entering my 40s, my health checkup results have shown dense breasts, but can they change to dense as I get older? Is it possible? Some things are not visible on X-ray, so ultrasound is more accurate, but I wonder if I need to apply for a separate examination. It's bothersome. As I get older, I feel uneasy because there are various concerning signs everywhere.
