Symptoms: - Fever, chills, lymph node swelling, fatigue, muscle aches, lower back pain, headache, respiratory symptoms (sore throat, nasal congestion, cough) etc.
- The rash appears on the face, mouth, hands, feet, chest, and around the anus and genitals.
Transmission route - Zoonotic transmission: animals to humans, humans to humans, contaminated environment to humans through contact
- Transmission occurs when in contact with infected patients, (respiratory infection possibility is low).
- There are cases of asymptomatic infection, but the evidence is still unclear.
Preventive vaccine: 3rd generation smallpox vaccine.
