Healthy childbirth / Tips for quick recovery after cesarean section
I am a first-time mother who gave birth in January.
After giving birth, I thought it would be really helpful to know these things, so I wanted to share and write this post.
Before pregnancy, I was doing yoga. I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks, and the hospital issued a restriction on exercise.
Lately, I've heard that gaining too much weight makes the gestational diabetes test stressful and it's hard to lose the weight afterward.
So, I decided to eat what I wanted but live healthily by taking walks. Of course, I started gradually on flat ground! I walked for 30 minutes, took a 5-minute break, and then walked another 30 minutes, totaling one hour each day.
Of course, I took a rest on days when I was tired!
But I hardly ever had days like that haha
After taking a nap, my energy is recharged.
And every morning upon waking or before going to bed, I always did stretching or prenatal yoga from Zium Yoga.
And I always wore compression stockings and spent the day! So my legs and body weren't swollen much!!
The doctor said that there were no contractions at all during the contraction test at the end of pregnancy.^^
I thought I would have a natural delivery, but the baby was too large, so it turned into an emergency cesarean, and I remembered what my friends said. I feel like my organs are spilling out. It feels like a train passing through my stomach.
But I was okay. When I was told to press the painkiller if I was in pain, I later asked to have it removed because it was uncomfortable to walk.
This is how I looked the day after surgery. I was told I needed to walk quickly to recover, so I started walking right after the surgery in the following month. I was surprised at how well I could walk, so I took a picture saying I looked like an ordinary person, haha.
I recovered quickly and am doing well now.
I believe the reason I was able to recover so quickly is due to consistent walking. And the equipment I used was compression stockings!
I think wearing compression stockings and walking helps reduce swelling, so I wear a booster and walk haha.
For those planning to get pregnant!! If you're feeling okay, definitely go for a gentle walk haha. It really helps a lot during the late stages and even after childbirth!
