A year ago, I underwent an upper endoscopy and was diagnosed with intestinal metaplasia, which is considered a precancerous stage of stomach cancer. I usually felt bloated and indigestion, so I didn't think much of it. Since then, and continuing into the future, I have a few health goals that I consistently pursue.
First of all, stop eating late-night snacks. I knew that late-night snacks are not good, but I loved eating them so much that I would eat regardless of whether my stomach hurt the next day. But after quitting late-night snacks, I felt so much lighter the next day and my stomach didn't hurt anymore. Also, I can't completely give up coffee, but when I do drink it, I always eat it after a meal. Additionally, I make sure to walk at least 10,000 steps a day. Walking is said to be good for the stomach and intestines^^ I always drink a glass of water when I wake up^^ Let's all try to do this together!
