How to Overcome Knee Joint Pain

One day, my knee swelled severely and was hot to the touch, so I went to the orthopedic clinic.

They said the medial meniscus is torn...

Based on the condition, it's clear that there was a serious impact somewhere...ㅜㅜ

I have never been in a traffic accident...

 

For the severe left side, the torn meniscus was removed, and the remaining half of the meniscus was kept to monitor its progress.

I started exercising after the first three months had passed.

Fall down from overexertion

I officially started rehabilitation exercises with physical therapy from the fifth month.

 

  1. Indoor cycling lasts for 30 minutes.
  2. Leg muscles are divided into thigh/thigh region and calf, with 15 repetitions and 3 sets each.
  3. Start deadlifts at a very low weight, doing 30 repetitions per day, especially to strengthen the erector spinae muscles.
  4. After exercising, I massaged my knees for 30 minutes, from the calves upward and from the thighs downward.

 

Currently, running is 4 times a week, 5 kilometers each time.

Walking at least 10,000 steps in over an hour every day 

 

Sometimes I experience pain, but I live feeling that my quality of life is improving...

    사실 정말 어디 한군데 라도 아프면 삶의 질이 떨어져요 기분도 우울하고
    저도 왼쪽 무릎 연골 연화증이라 에효... 운동도 맘 껏 하고 싶어도 못한답니다.

      특히나 무릎이 아프면 움직이기가 힘들어서 우울증과 체중이 늘어서 정말 힘들더라구요

      처음엔 진통제를 매일 먹었는데 근래는 많이 좋아졌어요..
      정말 아플때만 먹고 가능한한 참고 있어요...ㅜㅜ

      통증이 있긴했는데 그렇게 심하진 않았구요...열감이 심했어요...아주 붉어지고 붓기도 하고요..
      연골판 깨졌다는 소릴 듣기전엔 상상도 못했답니다...ㅜㅜ
