Daejeon City Internal Medicine Visit Review
Four years ago, I was shocked by the results of a health checkup. My HbA1c was 7.4 and my fasting blood sugar was 170. Since then, I've tried exercising and controlling my diet to control my blood sugar. It worked at first, but I lost muscle, became thinner, and my body gradually became weaker.
Seeing that treatment was impossible, I looked into hospitals. A friend recommended me to City Internal Medicine in Dunsan-dong, Daejeon. After reviewing the results of a basic examination, the doctor prescribed medication. He prescribed diabetes and high cholesterol medication to take in the morning. I'm continuing to eat and exercise regularly, but I'm still facing many challenges. Fortunately, thanks to the medication prescribed by City Internal Medicine, my HbA1c level is now at 6.2.
My blood sugar spikes are a problem right now. I eat lunch at work, so my blood sugar levels are around 250 an hour later. I can manage breakfast and dinner well with food and exercise at home, but lunch is a challenge. So, after consulting with my doctor, I've adjusted my medication to take at lunch. I take the medication before lunch, eat vegetables, eat chicken breast, and exercise. My blood sugar spikes are still around 250, but thankfully, my blood sugar levels are around 160 two hours later.
Being a skinny diabetic is so hard. I'm already skinny, but I wish I had some weight to lose. I need to think more about controlling my blood sugar levels at lunchtime. I'll work hard to effectively manage my blood sugar levels by combining the medication prescribed by City Internal Medicine with diet and exercise.
