I was satisfied after my knee pain treatment at Pangyo Yonsei Hill Orthopedics![3]
Recently, I felt a sharp pain in my knee whenever going up or down stairs, so I visited Yonsei Hill Orthopedics near Pangyo Station. It was very accessible as it was close to Pangyo Station, and the hospital facilities were generally modern and kept clean, creating a reassuring atmosphere even before the consultation. During my consultation with the director, I felt confident seeing how carefully he identified the painful areas and listened to my symptoms, as well as meticulously checking the range of motion and inflammation of my knee joint. The subsequent physical therapy process was also very systematic. The bedding and equipment in the physical therapy room were kept clean, and the therapist kindly explained the effectiveness of each treatment session. In particular, I underwent a combination of electrical stimulation and laser therapy, and I could feel the pain easing in real time as the stiff muscles around my knee gradually loosened. What I appreciated most was that they didn't stop at mere mechanical treatment; they also meticulously guided me on exercises tailored to my knee condition and even advised me to be mindful of postures in my daily life.

What about knee joint injections?[3]
Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but I get some knee pain when walking or going up and down stairs. Sometimes my knees swell and feel hot. It is also difficult to move, so I often have to rest before going. Sometimes the pain doesn't go down well, and it hurts a bit at night. And I feel stiffness or a friction-like sound in my knees. So, people around me are suggesting I try knee joint injections, but I'm worried about how many times I would need them and whether getting them too frequently might put a strain on my cartilage. I would appreciate an opinion from someone knowledgeable about knee joint injections.

I've really gotten into running lately, so I pushed myself too hard to increase my distance, and eventually, my knees started showing signs of trouble. At first, I thought it was just muscle soreness, but the throbbing pain got worse every time I went up or down stairs, so I decided to visit. The director checked my running habits and the painful areas very thoroughly. Instead of simply telling me to rest, he explained in an easy-to-understand way why my knee was inflamed, which gave me confidence. Thanks to the meticulous care provided by the physical therapists during treatment, my pain has definitely subsided a lot. The hospital atmosphere was tidy, and I felt at ease because they provided only the necessary treatments. I am now cautiously preparing to return to running. If you are suffering from knee pain while running like I was, you need to get it properly fixed so you can enjoy running for a long time.

Satisfied after knee pain treatment at Jamsil Mideum Orthopedics in Songpa-gu![12]
I visited the hospital because my left knee was hurting. After receiving a nutritional injection and refreshing physical therapy, my knee feels much better. The doctor was very kind during the treatment. I felt so good that it seemed like the healing happened naturally. The nurses were also kind and helped with the physical therapy, so my leg feels much better now. The tapping massage while lying on the bed was amazing. I think I would want to visit the hospital often in the future. Thank you, doctor and nurses. I attend a community center for exercises that involve a lot of leg use, and after visiting the hospital, I really enjoyed my workout. I even shared the hospital's name and location in detail with my friends. Thank you so much for treating my knee pain so well. You are a great doctor.

The discoloration on my knee is getting worse. Is there a way to fix this?[4]
I didn't used to care much about it, but lately I've been worried because my knees seem to be getting darker. Especially in the summer when I wear shorts or skirts, my knees look particularly dark, and it bothers me because it draws people's attention. I wonder if my skin tone is becoming uneven as I get older, and it feels like the discoloration is more noticeable than before. So, I have tried managing it in various ways on my own. First, I consistently exfoliated my knees using a body scrub every time I showered. Since I heard that scrubbing hard with an exfoliating towel can actually be irritating, I used a gentle scrub about once or twice a week. Also, because I heard that moisturizing is important, I applied a generous amount of body lotion after showering. Specifically for the knee area, I purchased a cream with whitening properties and applied it once more before bed. When going out, I made an effort to apply lotion frequently to prevent my knees from drying out, and I am also making an effort to reduce my habit of sitting with my knees on the floor. I have been consistently taking care of it like this for a few months, but I feel a bit frustrated because it doesn't seem to have brightened as noticeably as I had hoped. I am wondering if knee discoloration can be improved at a dermatology clinic using methods like lasers or whitening treatments, or if I need to continue my current care routine for a longer period. I would like to hear advice from anyone who has had a similar experience or found effective methods.

My knee isn't severe, but it aches from time to time, and the ultrasound showed a slight accumulation of fluid. Are there any joint supplements that would be good to take in this situation?
지원이26.04.16Views 52Likes 1 Review of treating knee pain by taking health supplements that help joints[2]
I experienced significant knee pain, possibly due to walking and exercising a lot lately. Since knee pain tends to persist and worsen once it starts, I made an effort to alleviate the symptoms. After taking nutritional supplements and wearing a knee brace to treat the pain, my knee pain improved significantly and I feel much better now. First, I wore the Vantelinco Supporter V Renewal Knee Brace to treat my knee pain. I had expected knee braces to be uncomfortable, but I was surprised by the distinct difference between wearing them and not wearing them. To use this product, simply insert your leg, pull the brace up below the knee, and let the U-shaped band wrap around it. The U-shaped taping provides excellent support, and the use of Lycra material allows it to stretch softly and adhere closely to the thigh, making it more effective for treating knee pain. And to treat my knee pain, I consistently took health supplements known to be good for joint and cartilage health. The product that was highly recommended to me was Murpira MSM+NAG. Murpira was effective in treating knee pain due to its high content of its main ingredients: 1,500mg of MSM, 500mg of N-acetylglucosamine, and 400IU of Vitamin D. It was definitely the best choice for treating knee pain, as Murpira is a health functional food recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for its ability to support joint and cartilage health and help reduce the risk of osteoporosis. I also consistently took Cispang Joint Palpal to treat knee pain. I chose it because it is made with 100% green-lipped mussel extract oil complex and New Zealand green-lipped mussel lipid extract. I continued to take it because green-lipped mussels are a type of shellfish native to New Zealand that the Maori people have consumed as a staple food for centuries, and it is known as a secret to treating knee pain and maintaining joint health.
임형수26.04.13Views 53Likes 2 Is there a way to improve skin pigmentation on my elbows, ankles, and knees?[25]
I am worried because I have severe pigmentation in certain areas of my skin. The knees, elbows, and ankles are particularly bad. Because of the dark discoloration of the skin It's stressful. Summer is coming soon, too. If the skin on the body, not the face, is discolored like this, would it be difficult to save it? I'm trying my best not to rest my arms on my elbows, but I don't know why my knees or ankles have gotten so dark. At first, I thought it might be due to dead skin cells, so even though I washed diligently and applied lotion well, the color doesn't fade easily. The surface of my skin feels rough to the touch. So, could this be due to some other cause rather than just simple discoloration? Actually, others probably won't look closely at my elbows or knees, but Still, when I look at my body, even small flaws seem bigger. So I can't help but be self-conscious about it. Even though I make sure to apply sunscreen in the summer, it's still like this. If I have severe hyperpigmentation like mine, how should I manage it? Would applying something like a discoloration whitening cream really be effective? Given the extent of the discoloration, I am also wondering if it can be improved with home care. Or I'm also wondering if I need a procedure like a peel or laser treatment. I want to know how to make it even a little bit lighter.

My knees ached and throbbed every time I went up or down stairs, making daily life difficult. I visited an orthopedic clinic and was diagnosed with knee arthritis. The director carefully examined my knee and recommended injection treatment perfectly suited to my current condition. Honestly, I was a bit nervous about getting an injection, but the doctor administered it quickly with skilled technique, so there was almost no pain, and it was over in no time. The physical therapy that followed the injection was also really good. I could feel the therapists providing meticulous care, and as they gently loosened my tight muscles and the areas around my joints, I definitely feel like my gait is much lighter. The hospital atmosphere was tidy, and everyone was kind, so I was able to receive treatment comfortably. If you are suffering from knee pain like me, I think you will get better quickly if you don't endure the pain but visit the hospital and receive treatment consistently.

Review of knee pain treatment at Bonpyeonhan Orthopedic Clinic in Anyang
I went to see Dr. Bae Jong-moon at Bonpyeonhan Orthopedic Clinic, where I have been going for treatment because of knee pain. First, the doctor examined my knee with an ultrasound and said that although there isn't much fluid, there is some, so I should be careful when walking. In reality, being careful while walking is easier said than done. Since you cannot walk at a fast pace, you burn fewer calories, causing your weight to gradually increase and placing more strain on your knees; if you grit your teeth and try to speed up, your knees hurt again, and the vicious cycle continues. However, since I didn't have any particular skills, I got a prescription and took the medicine, and I also received physical therapy, including electrotherapy and hot pack compresses.

Galsan Korean Medicine Clinic in Bupyeong-gu left a strong impression with their knee pain treatment.
I visited Galsan Korean Medicine Clinic due to knee pain based on a friend's recommendation. From the first impression, the clean and pleasant lobby was impressive, and the treatment rooms were also hygienically well-maintained. After registering, the director put me at ease, and I appreciated that they accurately explained the cause of my knee pain through an ultrasound diagnosis. After the consultation, I moved to the treatment room to receive physical therapy. I was truly touched by how kindly the staff guided me and meticulously checked for even the slightest discomfort during the treatment process. Galsan Korean Medicine Clinic seems to be a hospital that genuinely cares for you with warmth, not only your body but also your heart.

I am satisfied with the knee treatment at 365 The Barun Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine Clinic in Eunpyeong-gu.[2]
I visited the hospital due to pain, swelling, and bruising after severely bumping my left knee. After an X-ray, the attending physician diagnosed a problem with my patella and prescribed extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) and DNA injections. The injections were administered directly under ultrasound guidance, while the ESWT was performed by a physical therapist. After the treatment, I was also instructed on how to use a compression bandage and a knee brace. It was my first visit to the hospital, and I found the facilities to be clean, the staff friendly, and the overall atmosphere to be excellent. They also explained the treatment plan well, stating that they would monitor my progress after I receive the injections and ESWT for at least two weeks.

Feeling relieved after knee pain treatment at Jangan Anesthesiology and Pain Clinic in Dongdaemun-gu[3]
I had autologous cartilage graft surgery on my knee in 2010. Whether it is because time has passed or because I have gotten older, my knees have been aching and hurting again lately, so I visited Jang-an Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine Clinic located in the apartment complex shopping area. The director is young but incredibly kind, and he even gave me a gift of two Glasslock containers to celebrate the hospital's 4th anniversary. I had an X-ray taken of my knee, and I was relieved to hear that it is still usable for my age. After finishing my medical consultation and completing my physical therapy, they gave me manual therapy for about 10 minutes. Perhaps because the physical therapists were young, it felt very refreshing and pleasant. I thought it was really nice to have at least one hospital of this caliber in the neighborhood.

Successfully bending my knee after treatment at Bestbon Orthopedics in Gimpo![4]
I fell while snowboarding, and my knee was so swollen that the brace wouldn't come off, and it was also filled with fluid. It was difficult to walk or drive, so I received treatment for about a month. The director always examines the affected area thoroughly, provides kind explanations, and guides you through the next treatment plan. My knee wouldn't bend, but after four treatments from the doctor, I can now sit cross-legged and squat. Two weeks later, I maintain my range of motion well. The bed is really nice, and filing insurance claims via KakaoTalk is convenient. The facilities are clean, neat, and spacious. Accurate diagnosis and treatment are paramount for a hospital, and the doctor explains everything in detail with care for each individual. The staff are also incredibly kind. I caused my family worry after getting injured, but I am so satisfied with this hospital. I am so grateful.

My knee was throbbing and I felt a sharp pain every time I climbed stairs, so I eventually went to an orthopedic clinic. At first, I thought I had just overexerted myself, so I just put on a pain patch and endured it, but the pain wouldn't go away even when I lay down to sleep. The doctor said I have musculoskeletal inflammation in my knee and told me to make sure I take my medication properly and strictly avoid strenuous exercise for the time being. Looking at the prescribed medicine, it contains anti-inflammatory painkillers and muscle relaxants to reduce inflammation; seeing that it also includes antibiotics, it seems the inflammation wasn't very mild. Perhaps because they also gave me a stomach protectant, I haven't really felt bloated or uncomfortable after taking the medicine. Since I started taking the medicine, the heat sensation around my knee has definitely subsided a lot, and I can feel that walking has become much smoother.

Whether it's my knees or my back, it seems like going to the hospital only provides temporary relief.[3]
I'm the same way, but my parents are getting old, so there isn't a single part of their body that doesn't ache. He goes to the hospital frequently, especially because his back and knees are in bad shape. Whether I receive physical therapy or get injections, it always seems to only last for that specific day. It feels okay for a short while, but as time passes, the pain seems to gradually return. Even if I go to a big hospital, there isn't really an answer, perhaps because it is a disease caused by old age. I feel like I can somewhat understand why elderly people do not go to larger hospitals even though they receive physical therapy every day.

I visited Dongcheon Korean Medicine Clinic due to knee pain and leg numbness, and I was very satisfied with the treatment overall. I was a little nervous since it was my first visit, but I felt reassured because the director asked me about my symptoms thoroughly and explained everything in an easy-to-understand way. It was very helpful that they carefully diagnosed the condition of my knees and legs and also advised me on things to be careful about in my daily habits. In particular, when I mentioned during the consultation that I also had symptoms of rhinitis, the doctor examined them as well and even guided me on how to manage them, which I found to be very thoughtful. It was impressive that they considered my overall condition rather than just focusing on a single symptom. They even applied a patch as a finishing touch, which made the treatment feel more real, and it was great to be able to manage my condition comfortably even after returning home. Overall, I would recommend this Korean medicine clinic to anyone looking for kind and thorough treatment.

Review of knee fluid drainage at Seo-gu Gyeongdaebon Orthopedic Clinic[1]
I am someone who usually walks frequently and exercises by walking around the neighborhood or in the park. However, recently my knees have felt stiff and my legs feel swollen, and I have felt unnatural, so I visited an orthopedic clinic. The director told me that there was a lot of fluid in my knee and that it needed to be drained. He brought a syringe and injected it into my knee to remove the fluid, and it hurt like hell. I teared up a little... He used a really thick needle, too. Anyway, they drained the fluid with a syringe, gave me an injection with another, and prescribed medication. They told me to refrain from doing anything or exercising that puts strain on my knee for the time being. Ah... I feel so frustrated; I wonder how this will turn out... Anyway, that was my review of visiting the hospital because of fluid buildup in my knee. thank you

For knee pain in Seosan City, I recommend Seosan Teunteun Anesthesia and Pain Medicine Clinic.
I am writing this review of the consultation and treatment I received at Seosan Teunteun Anesthesia and Pain Clinic, which I visited on a friend's recommendation after my knee pain had recently worsened and was interfering with my daily life. I was very worried because of the sharp pain I felt every time I went up and down stairs, but my condition has improved significantly thanks to the systematic care I received here. Precise analysis of the cause: The director personally examined the painful area and meticulously checked the range of motion. I could feel the professionalism in how they identified the root cause of the pain by considering not only my symptoms but also my daily habits and gait. Effective Injection Treatment: I received injection treatment to relieve inflammation, and thanks to the thorough explanation of the procedure beforehand, I was able to alleviate my vague fears. The pain during the procedure was less than expected, and I could feel the stiffness in my knee becoming much smoother immediately after the treatment. Systematic Physical Therapy System: I was satisfied with the pleasant atmosphere of the physical therapy room following the injection treatment and the state-of-the-art equipment. The physical therapists carefully adjusted the intensity according to my condition and kindly taught me exercises to strengthen the muscles around the knee that I can practice at home, which was very helpful. If you are suffering from knee or joint pain in the Seosan area, this is a hospital you can trust and visit.

Hong & Chae Orthopedic Clinic in Jeonju, Knee Pain Treatment Review[2]
My mother visited the clinic due to knee pain. Even though we arrived early, there were many people. She said it hurt every time she walked, describing the sharp, stabbing pains as difficult to bear. We registered and waited in the waiting area, which was spacious, allowing us to wait comfortably. The doctor examined her and recommended an X-ray, but the person taking the X-ray didn't look very happy, perhaps because they were having a hard time. After waiting for the X-ray, the doctor examined her, and fortunately, said there was nothing wrong with the bone. We then went to the physical therapy room for treatment, and the nurse was very kind to us. The doctor prescribed Vitamin D. Although the doctor seemed a bit reserved, he provided thorough care.

Seongbuk-gu Samsung Bon Orthopedic Clinic, Knee Feels Comfortable After Pain Injection and Physical Therapy[1]
I was trying to write a review but couldn't find it, so I checked and found that Samsung Bon Orthopedics had changed its name to Modutop 365 Orthopedics. There are four doctors, and the physical therapy room is spacious; it is large enough that the manual therapy room is located on a separate floor. We are open 365 days a year, including Sundays, so it is convenient for planning treatment. However, it tends to get crowded on Sundays, so even if you make a reservation, you should allow plenty of time. I have back pain, so I am receiving injections, physical therapy, and separate pain injections. There is also a waterbed service after physical therapy, which is surprisingly addictive. It doesn't heal quickly, but please ask thoroughly about your progress and condition during your appointment and check up well. It is also convenient to visit after work on weekday evenings.

I went for the final visit today, and the doctor told me to come in anytime if I experience any discomfort during daily life. It's great to have The Barun Pain Clinic near my house to relieve pain~~

I visited the hospital because my knee hurt. It is located in a hospital building across from the Daegu Seo-gu Office. It was very convenient to visit. After visiting, I registered, waited a short while, and received treatment. The doctor told me that there is some fluid in my knee and that my cartilage has aged. So, I got some cartilage injections, and when I mentioned that my calves hurt when I stand for a long time, the doctor said it was a type of varicose veins and prescribed medication as well. After finishing my medical appointment, I went into the physical therapy room on the second floor and received rehabilitation treatment, such as hot compresses on my knee, before coming out. I liked the director, who was very kind and easygoing. I recommend this to those living near the West.

I have a severe scar on my knee; can it be removed?[2]
When I was young, I got cut by the corner of an iron door and got a laceration. I had it stitched up, but because it was summer, the stitches came undone, leaving a scar where the area was open. When I touch it, it feels hollow because there is no flesh underneath. I am wondering if this kind of scar can be removed through procedures or something similar. Even though I don't usually pay attention to it, there are times when it catches my eye and I want to get rid of it. Has anyone had a scar treatment or surgery like mine? If so, please share.

My right knee has been hurting for a while now. It was getting increasingly difficult to bend, so I endured it for a few days, but since it wasn't getting any better, I visited the nearby Centum Hospital. The facilities were clean, the scale wasn't small, and there were many patients. After telling them I came because my knee hurt, I checked in and waited, and they told me to get an X-ray first. I lay down, stood up, had a few X-rays taken, and had a consultation with the doctor. After looking at the X-ray, they said there are no major issues yet, but there is fluid in my knee, so they told me to either drain it with a syringe or take medication if I don't like injections. However, they said that medication treats slowly while injections treat quickly, so the choice is up to the individual. Even though the injection hurts, I chose it because it works quickly, and the fluid was drained right there on the spot. It stung when the needle went in, but it was bearable. They also prescribed a week's supply of oral medication. After draining the fluid, the pain gradually decreased, the swelling felt like it had gone down, and bending and straightening my body became a little easier. It is better than before after draining the fluid, but I'm not sure if the fundamental treatment is complete. This is a review of having fluid drained and treated at Centum Hospital due to fluid buildup in my knee.

Review of knee pain treatment at Yonsei Tanttan Orthopedics in Paju
It has been several years since I started experiencing knee pain, but since it was temporary—occurring only during long drives or when I felt I had overexerted myself—I dismissed it, thinking it was just due to physical exertion. However, starting last year, the pain began to occur frequently during my daily life. After driving long distances during the recent holidays, the pain in my knee persisted for several days, prompting me to visit the hospital. At the reception desk, I filled out a simple card and briefly explained how I came to visit and the condition of my knee. I was told the expected wait time was about 40 minutes. After sitting and waiting for about 20 minutes, my name was called, and they suggested taking an X-ray first while I waited. The test results indicated signs of aging, and they said that if left untreated, degenerative arthritis would soon begin. Fortunately, they said my case was in the pre-stage. After leaving the examination room and waiting for a short while, I went into the treatment room to receive a cartilage injection. Since it was my first time getting a cartilage injection, I was honestly scared it would hurt, but surprisingly, it was much less painful than an injection in the buttocks. I am currently in the process of finding exercises that work for me.

Three years ago, I started visiting this orthopedic clinic because my knee suddenly hurt severely while I was walking. I was told the pain was caused by worn-out knee cartilage. Fortunately, there is not much fluid buildup and no inflammation. The gurgling sound is bearable, but given my age and the fact that my bones are unlikely to improve now, and because I don't know when the pain might return, I follow the doctor's instructions. I occasionally get hyaluronic acid injections, take medication said to help with joints, and, when necessary, take anti-inflammatory painkillers along with stomach medication. Of course, I am also receiving physical therapy, including ultrasound, electrotherapy, and hot compresses. What I hope for right now is to maintain the status quo while taking medication and receiving treatment.

Every time I went up or down the stairs, my knees would hurt so much that daily life became increasingly difficult. Standing up after sitting for long periods of time also felt stiff, and the pain at night kept me up at night. Finally, I couldn't stand it anymore and visited an orthopedic surgeon. The director thoroughly examined my condition and explained everything in an easy-to-understand manner, which put me at ease. After an X-ray, I was diagnosed with knee inflammation and muscle weakness, and I began physical therapy and medication. After several sessions, the swelling went down and the pain was noticeably reduced. Most importantly, the staff was friendly, which made going to the hospital less stressful. I believe that with consistent care, things will get better.

Hwaseong City Saesol Seongmo Full Orthopedic Clinic, Nighttime Knee Clinic Review[1]
Since yesterday, my left knee has been tingling, and I was so shocked because it started to sting every time I went down the stairs. I thought it would get better if I just put a patch on it and went to bed, but when I got off work, it was so sore that I could hardly walk. Since it was late, I was anxious and looked for a place that was open. Luckily, there was a place that was open until 8 p.m. on weekdays, so I rushed over! It was easy to find, located on the 6th floor of the Lotteria building in Saesol-dong. While I waited, I relaxed a bit by enjoying a drink provided. Director Kwak Dong-ho examined me, felt my knee carefully, and reassured me that the ligaments were a bit swollen from overexertion. After receiving physical therapy, my stiff knees became much softer! The facilities were clean and tidy, as if they had been built not long ago. When you leave, please register your parking space at the desk, so don't forget to do so!

A review of knee pain treatment at Park Dong-won Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic in Siheung City.
I tripped on a parking block and fell, hitting my knee hard, so I visited a rehabilitation clinic due to persistent pain. I thought it was just a simple bruise, but the doctor carefully checked my knee movement and the area of pain in the examination room. After conducting the necessary tests, he reassured me that there were no major problems with my ligaments or joints. He also explained in an easy-to-understand way why certain movements might cause pain and what precautions I should take during the recovery process. Treatment focused on physical therapy to reduce inflammation and pain, and I was advised to incorporate rehabilitation exercises depending on my condition. Before treatment, I was constantly reminded of the stimulation involved and asked to report any worsening pain, which made the procedure comfortable. After treatment, I was given detailed instructions on knee stretches I could do at home and precautions to take in my daily life, which was incredibly helpful. What I find better about this hospital than others is that they don't just focus on the affected area, but also manage the entire recovery process. After a few treatments, I found walking much easier, and my anxiety about my knees has also decreased. This is a rehabilitation clinic I can confidently recommend to anyone who needs care for knee pain or after a fall.

What causes my knees to keep making a clicking noise?[13]
I do 30 squats every day. At some point, I started hearing a clicking sound from my knee. It only happens when I bend and straighten it, and there's no swelling or other pain. I'm wondering if it's arthritis or cartilage damage or something like that. Should I get it checked out just because the sound keeps coming up? I'm wondering if I should stop doing squats and riding my bike in the future.

I want to enjoy stair climbing for the rest of my life, healthy and free from knee pain. Hello. I've been doing stair climbing exercises for the past 2-3 months to strengthen my lower body and improve my overall health. I feel a great sense of accomplishment as I climb each step, feeling like my cardiopulmonary function is improving and my thighs are getting stronger. However, as I increased the intensity of my exercise, I began to feel a sharp pain in my knee joint intermittently when going down stairs or immediately after exercising, which deepened my concerns. My real goal isn't simply to lose weight or build muscle in a short period of time, but to incorporate this great exercise routine into my daily routine, "pain-free and long-lasting," without harming my knee health. So I have a few questions and would like to ask for your advice. First of all, is it always best to use the elevator to minimize the shock when coming down the stairs? If there are any supplementary exercises that can help strengthen the muscles around the knees and prevent strain on the joints, I would like to hear your recommendations. Also, I'm curious about the correct posture to reduce the burden on the knees, such as how to ground the soles of the feet when climbing or the angle of the upper body. They say pain is a signal from the body, but I'd also like to know the criteria for whether I can tolerate a little bit of soreness and continue, or whether I should rest immediately. Rather than being greedy, I want to build my health in an honest and wise way. First, I would like to know the valuable experiences and knee protection know-how of those who have been treated first. It's too bad to quit Please support my challenge to walk briskly for a long time.
아침햇살7726.02.18Views 608Likes 10 Are PRP injections effective? Practical guidelines for those seeking to alleviate knee pain.[3]
If your knees continue to hurt but you are considering surgery, you may have searched for PRP injections at least once. This is especially true because it is a treatment that raises many concerns such as, “Cartilage injections have a short-term effect, so is PRP any different?” 1. What is a knee PRP injection? PRP injections Treatment that separates only the growth factor-rich components from the patient's blood and injects them into the knee no see. It is known as a treatment that uses plasma that has a high concentration of platelets in the blood, and is aimed at reducing inflammation and aiding recovery. 2. How PRP injections work The treatment process itself is relatively simple. Blood draw from the arm Platelet separation using a centrifuge Injection of isolated platelets into the knee joint space These platelets contain growth factors that help reduce inflammation and promote tissue repair. That is, not an external drug Treatment methods that utilize my blood components Its characteristic is that: 3. In what cases is the scope of effect mentioned? PRP injections It has been mentioned that it may be helpful for patients with early to mid-stage knee arthritis. It will work. Here are some of the most anticipated parts: Reduce inflammation pain relief Improved knee function However, it is important to note that this is not a treatment that completely regenerates cartilage. In cases where cartilage damage is advanced, the range of effects may be limited. Therefore, in actual practice, it is often considered as “preoperative management treatment.” 4. Situations mentioned as targets for recommendation PRP is often considered in the following situations: If you have recurring knee pain but it doesn't require surgery If you frequently experience daily pain due to arthritis If the effect of cartilage injection is felt to be short-lived, lasting about 3 to 4 months That is, it is a treatment reviewed at the “intermediate stage requiring management treatment” rather than the completely severe stage. 5. Limitations (Cautions) to Consider Before PRP Injection 5.1 Cost-related features PRP is a non-covered treatment not covered by health insurance. Therefore, the cost burden may feel relatively high. 5.2 Individual differences in duration of effect The effect is average Mentioned as approximately 6 months to 1 year However, there may be significant differences depending on the individual. 5.3 Non-uniformity of effects No treatment is equally effective for all patients. Even at the same stage of arthritis, there are differences in response. 6. Why it is difficult to solve the problem with PRP alone. It is important to note that PRP treatment should be used in conjunction with exercise, weight management, and lifestyle management rather than as a standalone treatment. This is because the condition of the knee itself is greatly affected by lifestyle habits, so management is not something that can be completed with injection treatment alone. Especially when the purpose of treatment is pain management, the perceived difference may vary depending on whether concurrent treatment is used. The selection criteria often vary depending on whether pain management treatment is being considered preoperatively or whether joint damage has already progressed significantly. 👇 Collection of knee pain cases similar to mine (Question) My knees hurt when I go down the stairs. The director is kind and the staff are also friendly. I got a shot in my knee from the director and it got much better. I feel a lot better when I walk around. You can also receive physical therapy on the 3rd floor. After treatment, you will feel much smoother. There are a lot of people on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, so you may have to wait. There are a lot of people on national holidays or the day before a red day on the calendar, so you should prepare to wait. Sometimes, when you have no appetite and can't eat and feel weak, there is an IV drip, but it is a bit expensive. If you get it when you are sick, it will be very helpful in recovering your energy. If you get physical therapy at the physical therapy room on the 3rd floor while getting the IV drip, time will pass quickly and your body will be much more refreshed.

Namyangju City Shintong Orthopedic Clinic, happy to have resolved my mother's knee pain.[1]
I visited an orthopedic clinic for my mother's knee pain, and I'm leaving this review because I was overall satisfied with the care she received. I was worried because she complained of knee pain every time she went up and down stairs, but the overall process from check-in to treatment was relatively quick and systematic, which was great. The director thoroughly examined my knee through X-rays and a physical exam, and explained the cause of the pain and the condition of the cartilage in a way that even a guardian could understand, which gave me confidence. She didn't simply blame it on age, but rather provided specific guidance on lifestyle, weight management, and ways to reduce the strain on my knees, which was incredibly helpful. The physical therapy was also meticulous, and after treatment, my mother said her knees felt much lighter, which was reassuring. The nurses and therapists were also friendly, making it feel like a comfortable hospital for seniors. I highly recommend this orthopedic clinic to anyone struggling with knee pain.

Knee pain treatment review at Uijeongbu Main Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic[2]
My mother's experience with orthopedic treatment for knee pain was quite troubling. Initially, the pain was so severe that walking made life very difficult. The hospital accurately diagnosed my condition with X-rays and ultrasounds, and they even recommended an MRI if necessary, which was reassuring. Treatment consisted of manual therapy, joint exercise therapy, and thorough consultation. The doctor explained the cause of the pain and the recovery plan in detail, making it easy to understand. He especially recommended individually tailored stretching and strengthening exercises for me to do at home, and I noticed my pain diminishing over the course of a week or two. I appreciated the focus on fundamental improvement rather than painkillers, and the fact that any discomfort I experienced during treatment was immediately addressed, which greatly increased my satisfaction. However, the wait times for appointments are long and the treatment costs are ongoing, so it's best to establish a long-term plan through consultation. Overall, the friendly explanations, systematic treatment, and tangible results made this experience highly recommended.

기춘이26.02.03Views 75Likes 7 Experience of knee pain relief after bee venom acupuncture at the Pureunip Oriental Medical Clinic in Yeongdeungpo-gu[1]
I've been diligently doing CrossFit lately. I've been doing CrossFit sporadically for over a year now and haven't had any pain. However, the day after I indulged in box jumps, my knees started to hurt a little. I decided to try acupuncture at a Korean medicine clinic, so I visited the Purunip Oriental Medicine Clinic, which is open on weekday evenings. After registering and going to the director's office, I told him my right knee was hurting, so he pressed on various spots to check the location and severity of the pain and administered moxibustion and bee venom acupuncture. While I was at the clinic, I also asked him to examine my shoulder, which was hurting, and he examined my neck and the area connecting them on the examination chair in the director's office, and administered moxibustion acupuncture points. I think he also applied pressure to painful areas, similar to cupping therapy. After leaving the clinic, I felt a bit numb and it felt like my knee wasn't my own. However, the director said it might be uncomfortable for a few days, so I wasn't too worried.

My knees feel numb when I go up and down the stairs.[21]
These days, my knees get sore every time I go up and down the stairs. Cloudy days seem to make it hurt more, and it doesn't feel good when I sit down and stand up. Would it help if I walked with knee pads on? I'd like to try hot compresses if they help. What do you think? What exercises can I do to strengthen my knees?

I came here because of knee pain. The pain persisted after exercise, so I wanted to check for any issues, but the only treatment was an X-ray. The doctor said there was nothing wrong with my bone, and there was little explanation for any further tests or causes of my pain. I was a little taken aback when they simply told me to leave without prescribing any medication. I went because the pain was truly uncomfortable, but from a patient perspective, I felt like they lacked empathy and detailed guidance. It might be fine for those who just want a quick checkup, but personally, it was a very disappointing treatment. Overall, the treatment was so brief that I'm not sure I'll come back.

Knee physical therapy at Eunpyeong-gu Yu Jeong-hyeong Orthopedic Clinic, safe treatment without side effects![2]
I've been seeing an orthopedic surgeon regularly for knee treatment. Test results showed a cartilage problem, so I've decided to continue regular visits and receive physical therapy for the time being. While injections for pain would have provided immediate results, I prefer a safer option with no side effects, so I opted for physical therapy. Recovery may feel a little slower than with injections, but I feel much more reassured because the director tailors my treatment plan to my condition without overdoing it. The physical therapists also carefully examine the affected area and provide meticulous care, so after each treatment, my knee feels much lighter. What I find most satisfying is that they prioritize the patient's health over overtreatment and provide safe treatment. If you, like me, need long-term management for knee cartilage issues, I recommend taking your time and receiving treatment here step by step. I plan to continue to trust and diligently visit them until I fully recover.

Experience of a knee injury that recovered quickly at Cham Kyung-hee Oriental Medical Clinic in Gwangjin-gu
I fell on the sidewalk on Tuesday morning while diligently exercising. I must have lost the strength in my legs from running so hard to cross the traffic light. Fortunately, I wasn't seriously injured thanks to my thick clothes and gloves, but the impact on my left knee did hurt a little. I felt fine all morning. After lunch, I felt pain when I walked. Upon examining it, I noticed it was swollen and starting to bruise slightly. Having sprained my ankle before, I knew it would get worse. So I went to a Korean medicine clinic. Dr. Lee Hye-won examined me and said that prompt treatment would be a great help. After receiving physical therapy and ice, I received acupuncture. It started to hurt more in the evening. I applied the ice as instructed. The next morning, I felt much better. Walking on flat ground was fine, but climbing stairs was painful. I went back for acupuncture. I received similar treatment as yesterday, but this time I received electrical stimulation. I walked for about 30 minutes in the afternoon and had no trouble at all. I feel like I've recovered well.

Gunsan City's Nuga Hospital: A satisfactory treatment experience after a knee injury.

Upon entering the hospital, the lobby and waiting room were clean, and the receptionist was friendly. After checking in, I went for an X-ray, and the person taking the X-ray was very helpful in positioning me. After the X-ray, while I was waiting outside the examination room, the nurse asked me a few quick questions about the pain. Fortunately, the wait wasn't long, so I was able to see the doctor right away. The doctor explained the pain in detail and clearly. He reassured me that with appropriate treatment and medication, things would improve. Overall, I was satisfied with the treatment.

My knee pain improved after getting acupuncture for the first time at Jeongdam Oriental Medical Clinic in Suseong-gu.
My knees have been hurting for the past two weeks. I was worried that I might have done something wrong with my exercise or injured my kneecap. I waited for a while, thinking it would get better, but the pain still persisted. My younger sibling, who works out with me, said I heard that my knee pain improved significantly after receiving acupuncture at a Korean medicine clinic. Honestly, I'd never tried acupuncture before, so I was skeptical and a little scared. It was my first time receiving treatment for knee pain at a Korean medicine clinic, and it was my first time receiving acupuncture, so everything felt new and unfamiliar. The director was very impressed. He checked my pain in my right and left knees, and carefully checked how long it had been hurting, whether I had climbed stairs, whether I heard any sounds, and where the pain was located. After checking my symptoms, he told me to do some exercise and then move my front thighs. They say that if you don't properly loosen up, you can end up with knee pain like this. After getting acupuncture for my knee pain, the noises and pain I'd been feeling in my knees gradually improved from the very first day.

My child received excellent treatment for his knee at Mokdong Orthopedic Clinic in Yangcheon-gu.[1]
My child came to the hospital with knee pain, and the doctor was very thorough and attentive. The hospital interior is also very spacious, and the waiting room is well-maintained and clean. The radiology and physical therapy rooms are also very well-equipped. Physical therapy is also convenient. The staff is friendly, and because it's a child's treatment, they're especially attentive and provide excellent physical therapy and other treatments. I visited because I complained of persistent pain, like growing pains, and it was so painful I couldn't walk. They told me there wasn't any major inflammation and to take good care of it, so I left feeling reassured. They were also very attentive to my questions and provided thorough explanations. It's great to have such a large, convenient hospital nearby.

(Question) When I sit down while doing squats, I hear a clicking sound from one of my knees. Why is that?[19]
I was wondering what kind of strength training I should do these days, so I started doing squats. I do exactly 100 a day. Of course, I skip them on days when I'm not feeling well. I'm trying to do it 3-4 times a week... At first it wasn't like that, but one day... When you do squats, you sit down, right? Every time you do that, one of your knees makes a clicking sound. It doesn't hurt. There's no pain, so I just don't pay attention and do it;;; Why on earth does this sound come from? I was thinking about stopping my workout because I heard a clicking sound for no reason... but since I've already started, I feel like I have to do it anywayㅠㅠㅠ I don't feel any pain, but I'm worried that it might strain my knee and have an effect. I wonder if my posture is wrong or if my knees are bad. Anyone who does squats, have you ever had an experience like mine? How can I make it not make a clicking sound?

It was so hard to move, and it hurt so much when I bent or straightened them. I had a hard time, so I got shots, and I'm doing manual therapy and extracorporeal shock wave therapy. I've had several sessions, but I'm not completely cured yet, but the inflammation has gone away and my movement has improved a little, so I'm continuing to go. The director is also very kind and considerate. Other hospitals only provide physical therapy at one location a day, but the teachers here try their best to treat all the painful areas. As a service. They also provide manual therapy and waterbed massage services at the end, which are so refreshing and nice.
