This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tearing, sore throat, and heavy head due to common cold, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For those aged 15 and over: 1 tablet after each meal, three times a day.

Precautions

This medication contains pseudoephedrine, which may rarely cause a severe skin reaction known as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If you experience fever, skin rash, or multiple small pustules, you should stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age and children under 15 years of age. Additionally, it should not be taken if you are allergic to this medication or its components, are taking certain antidepressants such as MAO inhibitors, or have recently stopped taking them within the last two weeks. Patients with severe hypertension or uncontrolled hypertension should not take this medication, nor should individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders. It is safest not to take this medication together with other oral medications for rhinitis or cold medications containing antihistamines, cough suppressants, or allergy medications. If you or any family members have a history of allergic reactions or have experienced symptoms of drug allergies, you must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Individuals with certain medical conditions such as hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, glaucoma, urinary retention, those who are weak, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, and the elderly should also consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If you have severe coughing, chronic cough, fever, rash, or headache, you should also consult a professional before use. Those who are allergic to Yellow No. 4 (tartrazine) included in this medication should exercise caution. If symptoms such as hemorrhagic stroke, nausea, vomiting, severe thirst, constipation, loss of appetite, rash, itching, urinary retention, headache, facial flushing, etc., occur while taking this medication, you should stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, if severe symptoms such as muscle disease due to hypokalemia or symptoms of primary aldosteronism, sudden severe headache, confusion, seizures, or visual disturbances occur, you should consult a doctor immediately. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, you should stop taking the medication and consult a professional. In principle, this medication should not be administered to children under 2 years of age, and if necessary, a doctor's examination should be sought. You must follow the specified methods and dosages when taking this medication and avoid long-term use. Additionally, drowsiness may occur while taking this medication, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery, and abstain from drinking alcohol. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place in a sealed container.
