Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension
This medication is intended for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled even when using combination therapy with telmisartan and amlodipine. In such cases, additional treatment options or dosage adjustments may be necessary. This product lowers blood pressure effectively, helping to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and aiding in treatment.
Take 1 tablet once daily with water, regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., morning). For patients whose blood pressure is not controlled, a dose of 40/5/12.5 mg may be administered, with dosage adjustments made at intervals of more than 2 weeks. The maximum dosage is 80/5/25 mg.
This medication should not be used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can cause serious harm to the fetus. As it may interact with other medications, patients taking lithium, digoxin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), etc., should consult a physician or pharmacist. Patients taking this medication should be cautious when driving or operating hazardous machinery, as dizziness or drowsiness may occur.
