This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tearing, sore throat, and heaviness of the head caused by colds, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older: Take 1 tablet three times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication contains pseudoephedrine and may rarely cause serious skin reactions, like acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If symptoms such as fever, skin rash, or small blisters occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Children under 3 months of age and those under 15 years old should not use this medication. Additionally, those with known allergies to this medication or its ingredients, or with a history of hypersensitivity reactions, should not take it. Patients taking MAO inhibitors or who have stopped taking them within the last 2 weeks should not use this medication. Patients with severe or uncontrolled hypertension should also avoid this medication. This medication contains lactose, so those with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take it. It is advisable not to take other oral medications for rhinitis or cold medications containing antihistamines, cough suppressants, or motion sickness medications while using this product. Individuals with a history of allergies or previous drug allergic reactions should consult a healthcare professional before use. Patients with hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, glaucoma, urinary difficulties, or those who are weak, pregnant, or possibly pregnant, as well as elderly individuals, should also consult a healthcare professional before use. Especially if experiencing chronic cough or cough accompanied by fever and rash, consulting a doctor before use is imperative. If severe headaches, nausea, vomiting, rash, itching, urinary difficulties, flushing, or other symptoms occur while using, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare personnel. Do not take this medication for an extended period, adhere to the prescribed dosage, and be aware that drowsiness may occur; thus, avoid driving or operating machinery. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication, and store it in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children and away from direct sunlight. Do not transfer this medication to another container; keep it sealed after use to maintain its quality.

Severe skin adverse reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), hypoadrenalism (decreased urine volume, swelling of the face and extremities, increased blood pressure, headache), reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome, and reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome (sudden and very severe headache, thunderclap headache, nausea, vomiting, confusion, seizure, visual disturbances), hemorrhagic stroke
