This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tearing, sore throat, and heavy head caused by a cold, allergic rhinitis, or sinusitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 and older: 1 tablet per dose, 3 times a day after meals with a dosing interval of at least 4 hours.

Precautions

This medication contains a component called pseudoephedrine, which may rarely cause severe skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If you experience symptoms such as fever, reddened skin, or small blisters, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months or by individuals who have previously had an allergic reaction to this medication. Additionally, it should not be used by those who are currently taking or have recently stopped taking MAO inhibitors, such as certain antidepressants or antipsychotics, within the past two weeks. It is also not safe for patients with severe hypertension or serious kidney disease to use this medication. During treatment, it is advisable to avoid using other rhinitis treatments or cold medications that contain antihistamines. Individuals with an allergic constitution or a history of allergic reactions to medications, those with heart diseases, glaucoma, urinary difficulties, the elderly, and those with specific types of persistent cough should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as cerebral hemorrhage, severe nausea or vomiting, persistent thirst, constipation, loss of appetite, skin rash or itching, or difficulty urinating occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If serious symptoms such as anaphylactic shock, sudden severe headache, confusion, seizures, or visual disturbances occur, seek emergency medical assistance. If symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 doses, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. This medication should not be administered to children under the age of 2, and if necessary, a physician's consultation is required. This medication should be used according to the prescribed dosage and duration, and long-term use is not recommended. Drowsiness may occur while taking this medication, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery, and alcohol should be avoided as well. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children, kept away from direct sunlight, and stored in a cool, dry place in a tightly sealed container. It should not be transferred to another container to maintain the quality of the medication.
