Precautions

This medicine may cause liver damage if taken by someone who regularly consumes more than three alcoholic beverages daily, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. The acetaminophen component in this medicine can, although rarely, cause serious skin reactions, so if a rash or hypersensitivity occurs, discontinue use immediately. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen should not exceed 4000mg, and it should not be taken with other medicines containing the same ingredient to prevent liver damage. Individuals with allergies to this medicine or its components, those with a history of asthma, infants under three months old, and certain genetically determined lactose intolerant patients should not take this medicine. Moreover, those currently taking or having discontinued MAO inhibitors within two weeks should also refrain from using this medicine. During the course of taking this medicine, it's advisable to avoid concurrent medications that include cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Infants infected with chickenpox or influenza or children under 15 years of age must consult a physician before use, and those with a predisposition to allergies or a history of drug allergies should also exercise caution. Individuals with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, or diabetes, hypertension, gastrointestinal diseases, as well as the elderly, pregnant women, and nursing mothers should consult a healthcare professional before use. If symptoms such as rash, vomiting, swelling, dizziness, insomnia, breathing difficulties appear during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. Particularly if anaphylactic shock, severe skin rash, asthma attacks, or symptoms of liver dysfunction occur, prompt medical attention is required. Children under two years of age are generally advised not to use this medicine, and if necessary, it should be strictly followed under a physician's guidance. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency and avoid long-term use, as well as abstaining from alcohol during treatment. Additionally, caution should be exercised as acetaminophen metabolism may slow down when taken with certain antidepressants or alcohol. Taking this medicine with specific antibiotics (flucloxacillin) may rarely cause metabolic acidosis, so follow the physician’s instructions closely. Finally, this medicine should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry, and sealed place to maintain its quality. Do not transfer it to another container to preserve its quality.
