This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tears, sore throat, and heaviness in the head caused by colds, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. It effectively improves various nasal and upper respiratory symptoms that patients find uncomfortable, thus reducing inconvenience in daily life. Symptoms can quickly improve, allowing the patient to feel comfortable.
How to take
Adult dose
For individuals aged 15 and older: 1 capsule per dose, 3 times a day. Take after each meal with a dosage interval of at least 4 hours.
Precautions
This medication contains the ingredient pseudoephedrine, which can rarely cause serious skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If symptoms such as fever, red spots, or small blisters develop, discontinue taking this medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age or children under 15 years of age, nor by anyone allergic to this medication or its ingredients. Furthermore, people who are taking or have recently stopped taking MAO inhibitors, severe hypertensive patients, or severe kidney disease patients should not take this medication. It is recommended not to take this medication together with other cold medications, allergy medications, or cough medicines during treatment. If you or any family member has a history of allergies, or has previously had allergic reactions to medications, has high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, eye disorders, urination problems, fever, weakness, is elderly, or is currently undergoing treatment for any condition, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Especially, if a cough persists for a long time or is accompanied by severe phlegm, or if symptoms related to this medication's ingredients, such as abdominal pain or rectal bleeding, occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, severe headache, skin rash, itching, or urinary difficulties occur during treatment, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Serious allergic reactions, elevated blood pressure, muscle weakness, sudden severe headache, and visual disturbances may occur; thus, consult medical staff if these symptoms arise. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, it is necessary to consult a doctor. This medication must be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and should not be used for extended periods. It may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery, and refrain from consuming alcohol. Children under 2 years of age should not take this except in special cases, which require consultation with a doctor. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place. Additionally, it is important not to transfer it to another container to maintain quality.
