This medication is used to relieve various symptoms caused by colds, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and older: 1 tablet per dose, 3 doses a day after meals for 30 minutes.

Child dose

Aged 11 to under 15 years: 1 tablet per dose, 2 doses a day or 2 tablets per dose, 1 dose a day after meals for 30 minutes. Aged 8 to under 11 years: 1 tablet once a day after meals for 30 minutes.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks a day as it may cause liver damage; consult a doctor or pharmacist. Rarely, serious skin reactions may occur due to the acetaminophen component, so if a skin rash or hypersensitivity occurs, stop taking the medication immediately. Care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose, and it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. Due to the pseudoephedrine component, severe skin reactions may occur; if fever or skin symptoms develop, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. Those who are allergic to this medication or its components, who have a history of asthma, infants under 3 months of age, or those taking certain antidepressants should not take it. Individuals with hereditary lactose intolerance or allergy histories should also avoid this medication. Those with hypertension or kidney disease, and hypersensitivity to soybean oil, beans, or peanuts should take it with caution. Patients with dyslipidemia or diabetes should take it with care. It should not be taken with other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children, pregnant women, nursing mothers, and individuals with certain medical conditions should consult a specialist before taking it. If unusual symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, or dizziness occur while taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional. Especially if there are signs of severe allergic reactions or liver dysfunction, visit a medical institution immediately. Children under 2 years of age should not take it unless necessary, in which case they should see a doctor. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and avoid prolonged use; refrain from alcohol during use and avoid driving or operating machinery, as drowsiness may occur. Rarely, metabolic acidosis may occur when this medication is taken in combination with certain antibiotics; therefore, caution is advised, and if unusual symptoms are suspected, discontinue use immediately. Respiratory problems (difficulty breathing due to asthma or interstitial pneumonia, shortness of breath, fever). Liver issues (jaundice, symptoms of liver dysfunction such as general malaise). Severe swelling.
