Precautions

This medication may burden the liver, so individuals who consume more than three alcoholic drinks daily must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. The active ingredient, acetaminophen, can rarely cause serious skin allergic reactions; if symptoms such as skin rashes or itching occur, stop taking the medication immediately and consult an expert. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000mg, and it should not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen to prevent liver damage. Those with allergies to this medication or its ingredients, or who have previously experienced asthma, and infants under three months old should not take this medication. While taking this medication, do not take other analgesics, cold medications, or sedatives. Children with chickenpox or flu or who are suspected of having them, individuals with allergic tendencies, major organ diseases such as liver or kidney problems, elderly individuals, and pregnant or breastfeeding women must consult an expert before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rashes, itching, vomiting, dizziness, swelling appear, or if there are severe allergic reactions, skin lesions, asthma symptoms, or signs of liver dysfunction, stop taking the medication immediately and consult medical personnel. Children under two years old should ideally not take this medication; if necessary, a doctor's consultation is required. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, avoid prolonged use, and refrain from alcohol while taking this medication. Additionally, certain antidepressants or alcohol may delay the breakdown of acetaminophen, so caution is advised. Rarely, taking this medication with certain antibiotics can cause metabolic acidosis, so caution is necessary and should be discontinued if unusual symptoms occur. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and stored in a cool, dry place with minimal moisture. To maintain quality, it is important not to transfer to another container.
