This medication is used to relieve various symptoms associated with a cold. It reduces sore throat, cough, and phlegm to improve throat discomfort, and helps regulate chills and fever symptoms to provide comfort. It also aids in alleviating overall malaise symptoms such as headaches, joint pain, and muscle aches. Therefore, it is effective in managing various cold symptoms comprehensively. This medication is used for the relief of cold symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Generally, adults take 1 pouch (bottle) 3 times a day, 30 minutes after meals. The dosing interval is 4 hours.

Precautions

This medication may strain the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. It contains Acetaminophen, which can rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if any skin rash or allergic symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately. Exceeding the daily maximum dose of 4,000mg can lead to liver damage, so do not take this medication concurrently with other medications containing Acetaminophen. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients, those who have had asthma attacks, infants under 3 months of age, and those taking or have recently stopped taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics should not take this medication. While taking this medication, do not use cough medicines, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or medications containing antihistamines. Infants or children with chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic tendencies, liver or kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, etc., should consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. It is also important for pregnant or breastfeeding women to consult a specialist before taking this medication. If any abnormal symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, or dizziness occur after taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare personnel. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, seek medical attention. Children under 2 years of age should not take this medication except in special cases. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration of use and avoid long-term use. Alcohol should also be avoided during treatment. Additionally, caution is necessary when taking this medication along with certain diuretics or medications containing licorice as side effects may occur. Taking this medication along with certain antibiotics may rarely cause serious side effects such as metabolic acidosis, so follow medical guidance in such cases. When storing, keep the medication in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and do not transfer to another container.

Mild side effects

Rash/Redness (swelling), itching, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, dizziness, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)
