This medication is used to relieve various symptoms associated with colds, including sore throat, cough, mucus, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older: 2 tablets per dose, three times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication can put strain on the liver; therefore, individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. This medication can rarely cause serious allergic reactions on the skin; if symptoms such as rashes or itching appear after taking, discontinue immediately and consult a specialist. The acetaminophen component contained in this medication can cause liver damage if the daily maximum dosage is exceeded, so do not take it in combination with other acetaminophen-containing medications. Individuals with a history of allergic reactions or asthma, specific genetic metabolic disorders, infants under 3 months old, and those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not take this medication. It is safe to adhere to the prescribed dosage and not to use for an extended period; also, avoid alcohol while taking this medication.
