This medicine helps alleviate cold symptoms such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. It is used to effectively improve the uncomfortable symptoms caused by colds.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults take 2 tablets three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication can cause liver damage or gastrointestinal bleeding in people who regularly consume more than three drinks a day, so they must consult a doctor or pharmacist. Caution should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000 mg of acetaminophen, and it should not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen. If severe skin reactions such as rashes or itching occur while taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately, and expert advice should be sought. This medication contains pseudoephedrine, which may rarely cause severe skin reactions; if symptoms such as fever, redness, or small blisters appear, discontinue use and consult a physician. Individuals with allergies to specific ingredients or a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, those currently taking or having stopped MAO inhibitors within two weeks, or those with genetic lactose intolerance should not take this medication. During treatment, it is advisable not to take other medications that contain cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergies, or those with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid diseases, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a professional before taking this medication. If unusual symptoms such as rashes, vomiting, dizziness, or breathing difficulties occur after taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If symptoms do not improve after taking it 5-6 times, seek medical attention. Children under 2 years old should generally avoid this medication except in special circumstances. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency, avoid long-term use, and do not drink alcohol while taking this medication. Additionally, since this medication may cause drowsiness, it is safe to avoid driving or operating machinery. Caution is required when taking this medication with a specific antibiotic, flucloxacillin, as metabolic acidosis may rarely occur; discontinue use if unusual symptoms are suspected. When storing, keep out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry, and airtight place.
