Adult dosage

Use as prescribed (1 tablet of this drug is equivalent to 2.0 g of licorice).

This medication is for compounding use only. Those with high blood pressure or older adults, individuals with heart or kidney problems, those experiencing swelling, or anyone currently receiving treatment from a physician should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If you experience reduced urine output, swelling of the face and extremities, heaviness of the eyelids, stiffness in the hands, elevated blood pressure, or headaches while taking this medication, you should stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Long-term use of this medication may result in decreased potassium levels in the blood, increased blood pressure, or fluid retention causing swelling and weight gain; thus, regular blood tests should be conducted to monitor your condition. Additionally, if you experience muscle weakness, limb cramping, or paralysis due to potassium deficiency, stop taking this medication and consult your doctor immediately. While using this medication, be cautious of side effects if used with other medications containing potassium, licorice components, or specific diuretics. Furthermore, when taken with other herbal medicines, ensure that there is no overlap of the same ingredients.
