This medication is used to relieve symptoms of cough and phlegm.

How to take

Adult dose

For those aged 15 and older: Take 2 capsules 3 times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. This medication should not be used in infants under 3 months old. Those who have a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to this medication or its ingredients should avoid taking it. Additionally, individuals taking specific antidepressants or psychiatric medications known as MAO inhibitors, or who have stopped them less than 2 weeks ago, should not take this medication. While taking this medication, do not take other cough medications, cold medications, antihistamines, or sedatives at the same time. Especially, individuals with allergic tendencies or prior allergic reactions to medications should always consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. People with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, urinary difficulty, elderly patients, frail individuals, or those with high fever should also consult a specialist before use. The same applies to women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Additionally, those currently under a doctor's treatment or suffering from respiratory diseases such as smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or experiencing a cough lasting more than a week should consult a specialist. If any symptoms like skin rash, itching, nausea, dizziness, difficulty urinating, severe thirst, anxiety, tremors, or insomnia occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Also, if symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, stop taking the medication and consult a specialist. This medication is not to be administered to children under 2 years of age. If urgent, a doctor's consultation is required. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and schedule, and it is advisable to use syrup form for children under 7 years instead of soft capsules. During use, avoid alcohol, as drowsiness may occur; do not operate vehicles or machinery. Store out of reach of children in a sealed container, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place. It is also important not to transfer it to another container to maintain quality.
