Relief of cold symptoms (runny nose, nasal congestion, etc.)
This medication helps relieve various symptoms of a cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. It is used to reduce discomfort caused by colds and improve symptoms.
Ages 15 years and above, 1 pouch (20mL) per dose, taken three times a day 30 minutes after meals.
Ages 11 years and above - under 15 years, 2/3 pouch per dose; ages 7 years and above - under 11 years, 1/2 pouch per dose; ages 3 years and above - under 7 years, 1/3 pouch per dose; ages 2 years and above - under 3 years.
This medicine can put a strain on the liver; individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages per day should consult a physician or pharmacist. Very rarely, serious skin reactions may occur due to the ingredients in this medication, and it should be discontinued immediately if a rash or other hypersensitivity reaction occurs. This medicine contains acetaminophen, so care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage, and it should not be taken simultaneously with other acetaminophen-containing products. The artificial sweetener aspartame contained in this drug can be dangerous for people with the genetic disorder phenylketonuria, and they should avoid taking it. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its components, those who have previously experienced asthma, infants under 3 months of age, and those taking specific antidepressants or antipsychotic medications should not take this medicine. It is safest not to take this medication with other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergies or diseases of the liver, kidneys, or heart, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should always consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, dizziness, or insomnia appear during use, immediately discontinue use and consult a specialist, and urgent medical treatment is necessary if serious allergic reactions or liver dysfunction symptoms occur. It is advisable for children under 2 years of age not to take this medication, and if absolutely necessary, a doctor's consultation should be sought. When taking this medication, the prescribed dosage and administration should be strictly followed, prolonged use should be avoided, and alcohol should be refrained from. Drowsiness may occur during use, so it is safest to avoid driving or operating machinery. Caution is needed as acetaminophen metabolism may be affected when taken with certain drugs, and if unusual symptoms occur when taking this medication with specific antibiotics, it should be discontinued immediately.
