Precautions

This medication may put strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume three or more alcoholic drinks daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. The acetaminophen ingredient in this medication can, rarely, cause serious skin reactions; if a rash or hypersensitivity reaction appears after taking it, discontinue use immediately. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen is 4,000mg, and taking this medication alongside other acetaminophen-containing products increases the risk of liver damage. As it contains pseudoephedrine, if symptoms of fever or small blisters on the skin appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Individuals with an allergic reaction to this medication, those who have previously experienced asthma, infants under 3 months old, individuals taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, and those with severe hypertension or kidney disease should not take this medication. During treatment, do not take cough medications, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines concurrently. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic tendencies, individuals with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, elderly individuals, pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a professional before taking it. If symptoms such as rash, nausea, swelling, or dizziness occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist; severe cases may require emergency measures. It is generally not recommended for children under 2 years of age, and in necessary cases, a doctor's consultation is required. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and avoid prolonged usage, as well as avoid alcohol consumption. Also, because this medication may cause drowsiness, it is advised to avoid driving or operating machinery. Taking this medication alongside certain antibiotics or other drugs may cause side effects; consult a professional if currently taking any other medications.
