View approved original text

This medication is used to assist in the blood sugar control of patients with type 2 diabetes. It can be administered alone while accompanying dietary and exercise therapy, and it can also be applied to patients with no prior experience in diabetes drug therapy. If blood sugar control is difficult with monotherapy, it may be co-administered with Metformin. Additionally, this medication is used together with other treatments such as sulfonylureas, thiazolidinediones, or insulin when adequate blood sugar control is not achieved. This medication is also added to enhance blood sugar control when the effect is insufficient with multiple drug regimens. It is used to improve overall blood sugar management.
