Improvement of sputum expectoration in acute and chronic respiratory diseases
This medication helps to dissolve mucus and facilitates the expulsion of phlegm when coughing in acute and chronic respiratory diseases. This leads to easier breathing and relief from symptoms. In other words, it is used for mucolysis and expectoration in acute and chronic respiratory diseases.
Adults: Take 300 mg of erdosteine orally 2 to 3 times daily. Do not take for more than 10 consecutive days when used for acute respiratory disease.
