This medication helps alleviate various symptoms associated with the common cold. It is effective for respiratory symptoms such as sore throat, cough, and phlegm, as well as systemic symptoms like chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. It helps improve the uncomfortable symptoms of a cold, aiding the patient in quickly returning to their daily routine.
For individuals aged 15 and older, take 2 tablets, 3 times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.
This medication may strain the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Serious skin reactions, such as severe rashes or blisters, may occur during the use of this medication. If such symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Care must be taken not to exceed a maximum of 4,000 mg of acetaminophen in a day, and it should not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen. Individuals who have previously exhibited allergic reactions to this medication or its components, or have had experiences that triggered asthma, should not take it. Infants under 3 months of age should not take this medication, and those currently taking or having taken certain antidepressants or antipsychotics within 2 weeks should also refrain from use. People with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders should not take this medication. While taking this medication, it is advisable to avoid combining it with cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children with suspected or confirmed chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic tendencies, or those with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, as well as those with hypertension or diabetes, should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Pregnant or nursing women should exercise caution when taking this medication; especially in the later stages of pregnancy, the use of medications containing certain ingredients is not recommended. If symptoms such as rashes, itching, vomiting, or dizziness occur during treatment, immediately discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. In particular, if acute allergic reactions, severe skin conditions, asthma attacks, or symptoms indicating liver dysfunction occur, seek medical attention immediately. Children under 2 years of age are generally advised not to take this medication, unless directed by a physician in necessary cases. Strictly adhere to the prescribed method and dosage when taking this medication, avoid prolonged use, and abstain from alcohol. Additionally, when combined with certain antidepressants or alcohol, the metabolism of acetaminophen may slow down, requiring caution. Caution is necessary when taking this medication alongside the specific antibiotic flucloxacillin, as it may rarely lead to metabolic acidosis. Store the medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place. Do not transfer it to another container, as this would pose risks of misuse or degradation of quality.
