This medicine is used for cough and phlegm caused by acute and chronic respiratory diseases, and for cough symptoms that occur during epidemic colds or colds in children.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For adults, take 10ml three times a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms as needed.

Children's dosage

For children (ages 3 to 12), take 5ml three times a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms as needed.

Precautions

This drug should not be used in certain patients. For example, it should not be given to patients with allergies to this drug, those with ulcers in the stomach and duodenum, patients with glaucoma, patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia, and premature infants or newborns. Additionally, this drug should be used cautiously in some patients. Patients with elevated intraocular pressure or excessive thyroid function, those with gastrointestinal problems, cardiovascular patients, epilepsy patients, patients with bronchial diseases, liver patients, and newborns should be especially cautious. Also, mental symptoms such as drowsiness, headache, dizziness, and insomnia may occur, so it is advised to avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery during the use of this medicine. This drug may lose its effectiveness when taken with certain antibiotics, so it is recommended to take it at least 2 hours apart. Moreover, using it with alcohol or central nervous system depressants may increase drowsiness, so caution is advised. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before taking this medication, as its safety is not assured and should only be taken if necessary. Elderly patients, whose bodily functions may be diminished, should be carefully observed and used with caution.
