Relief of pain from inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis
This medication is effective for rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis), and periarthritis of the scapulohumeral joint. It is also used for relief of pain such as low back pain or sciatica. It can help in the treatment of pain due to non-articular rheumatism. It is widely used for various joint and musculoskeletal disorders.
Take 200 mg of aceclofenac once daily. Do not chew or crush the medication; swallow it whole. To minimize the risk of cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
This medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding if taken regularly by individuals who drink more than three glasses of alcohol daily; therefore, consultation with a physician or pharmacist is necessary. Those at risk of cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases should initiate treatment cautiously, as serious issues such as myocardial infarction or stroke may occur while taking this medication, and it should be taken at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. This medication may elevate the risk of serious problems like gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforations, so it should be used cautiously in the elderly or those with a history of gastrointestinal disorders. Individuals with active peptic ulcers or bleeding, a history of allergic reactions to this medication or similar drugs, asthma patients, those with severe heart failure or cardiovascular diseases, individuals with significantly impaired kidney or liver function, pregnant women in late pregnancy, and nursing mothers should not take this medication. Individuals with mild kidney or liver impairment, hypertension, asthma, or those who are elderly should take this medication with increased caution and regularly monitor their condition as directed by a physician. This medication can cause side effects such as dizziness, gastrointestinal disturbances, liver enzyme abnormalities, skin rashes, and in severe cases, blood abnormalities, cardiovascular issues, or kidney damage; if any abnormal symptoms occur, consult a physician immediately. This medication can interact with other drugs, so it is imperative to inform healthcare professionals, especially if taking medications for blood pressure, diuretics, anticoagulants, antidiabetics, or anticancer agents. Pregnant women or those planning to become pregnant should avoid using this medication, especially in late pregnancy, as it may harm the fetus. Nursing mothers should also refrain from using this medication as it may affect the baby, and should consider discontinuing breastfeeding. In case of overdose, symptoms may include gastrointestinal irritation, hypotension, respiratory depression, and convulsions, and immediate medical attention should be sought.
