This medication is used to relieve several symptoms associated with colds, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. It provides comfort for cold symptoms and aids in recovery.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and over: 20mL once, taken three times a day after meals, 30 minutes.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15: 13mL once, Ages 7 to under 11: 10mL once, Ages 3 to under 7: 6.5mL once, Ages 2 to under 3:

Precautions

This medication may cause liver damage if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily, so consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking. As it contains acetaminophen, rare but serious skin reactions may occur; discontinue use immediately if a skin rash or hypersensitivity reactions occur. Care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage, and this medication should not be taken with other drugs containing acetaminophen. Individuals with a history of hypersensitivity reactions or those who have experienced asthma should not take this medication, nor should infants under 3 months, individuals currently taking or who have recently stopped certain antidepressants or antipsychotics. While taking this medication, do not use medications including cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children with chickenpox or influenza, individuals with specific allergic conditions, liver, kidney, or heart diseases, the elderly, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult an expert before taking. It should not be administered to children under 2 years of age, unless absolutely necessary upon physician consultation. If unusual symptoms such as rash, vomiting, urinary issues, dizziness, or insomnia occur after taking, discontinue use immediately and consult an expert. Adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage and do not use for prolonged periods; supervision by a guardian is necessary when administering to children. Avoid alcohol consumption during treatment and refrain from driving or operating machinery if drowsiness occurs.

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, cold sweat, pallor → severe allergic reaction
  • Severe rash with high fever, blisters, peeling of the skin, pain of oral/ocular mucosa → severe skin abnormal reaction
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory issues accompanied by cough + fever → respiratory problems
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy → liver issues (jaundice)
