This medication is used for the relief of symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tearing, sore throat, and heavy head due to acute rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.
How to take
Adult dose
Ages 15 and older: 2 tablets per dose, 3 times daily. The interval between doses should be more than 4 hours.
Child dose
Ages 8 to under 15 years: 1 tablet per dose, 3 times daily. The interval between doses should be more than 4 hours.
Precautions
This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age, and individuals allergic to this drug or its ingredients should not use it. Additionally, those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics or who have recently stopped taking such medications should not take this drug. This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take it. During treatment, it is advisable not to use other oral medications for rhinitis or cold medications containing antihistamines, motion sickness medications, etc. Children under 2 years of age should use this drug only after consulting a physician, and individuals who are prone to allergic reactions or have had a history of drug allergies should also consult a doctor. Those with hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, glaucoma, thyroid disease, diabetes, or individuals who are weak, pregnant, or possibly pregnant, as well as the elderly, should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If a cough persists or there is a chronic cough, it is also necessary to consult a professional before taking the medication. This medication contains certain dyes, so individuals allergic to these substances should be cautious.
