This medication is used for relieving symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, sore throat, and heaviness in the head caused by colds, allergic rhinitis, or sinusitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and above: 24 mL per dose, taken 4 times a day after meals and, if necessary, before bedtime. As needed, it may be taken up to 6 times a day every 4 hours.

Child dose

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age. Furthermore, individuals taking or having stopped certain antidepressants, antipsychotics, emotion regulators, or anti-Parkinson's drugs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) within the last 2 weeks should not take this medication. It is important not to take any other oral medications for rhinitis, antihistamines, cold medications, cough suppressants, anti-motion sickness medications, or allergy medications while taking this medication. If you or any family member has a predisposition to developing hives, contact dermatitis, migraines, food allergies, or has previously experienced allergic reactions such as fever, rash, joint pain, asthma, or itching from medications, consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Additionally, those with high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, edema, glaucoma, urinary difficulties, thyroid disease, diabetes, or who are frail, or have a high fever must consult with a specialist before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or possibly pregnant, nursing mothers, the elderly, and those currently receiving treatment from a doctor or dentist should also consult prior to use. Especially, smokers or individuals with asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, cough with excessive phlegm lasting over a week or recurring, cough accompanied by fever or rash, or persistent headaches should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, persistent or severe thirst, constipation, loss of appetite, rash, itching, or urinary difficulties occur while on this medication, you should stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. Rarely, symptoms of anaphylactic shock such as hives, severe swelling (edema), difficulty breathing, swelling of the face and limbs, increased blood pressure, or severe headaches may occur, in which case you should stop taking it and contact a doctor right away. Muscle weakness, limb spasms, or paralysis may also occur, and in these cases, you should stop taking this medication and consult a specialist. If symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 doses, it is advisable to stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. This medication should not be given to children under 2 years of age, and if necessary, a doctor's consultation is mandatory. When taking the medication, adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and method of administration; prolonged use should be avoided. When administering to children, caregivers should supervise and guide the process carefully. Since drowsiness may occur, it is safer to avoid driving or operating machinery during treatment. Also, alcohol should be avoided while taking this medication. Store it in a sealed container away from children and protected from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place. To maintain quality, it is advisable not to transfer to another container.
