This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and tearing caused by colds and allergic and vasomotor rhinitis.

How to take

Adult dose

1 tablet each time, 3 times a day after meals.

Child dose

Children aged 12 to 14 years take 1/2 tablet each time, 3 times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication contains pseudoephedrine, which can rarely cause severe skin reactions such as acute generalised exanthematous pustulosis. If symptoms like fever, red spots on the skin, or small blisters develop, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. There are cases in which this medication should not be taken. For instance, patients who are allergic to this medication, those with severely impaired liver or kidney function, patients with severe heart disease, and individuals with difficulty urinating should not use this medication. Additionally, people with hypertension, those with coronary artery disease, pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 2 years of age, and individuals with certain genetic lactose intolerance should avoid taking this medication. While taking this medication, it should not be combined with blood pressure medications, alcohol, central nervous system depressants such as sleep aids or sedatives, certain antidepressants, sympathomimetics, etc. Particularly, if you are using an MAO inhibitor, you must wait at least 15 days before taking this medication. While taking this medication, you should refrain from activities that require alertness, such as driving or operating dangerous machinery. If you have asthma, glaucoma, heart disease, arrhythmias, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, or prostatic hypertrophy, consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. If unusual symptoms such as sedation, drowsiness, anxiety, sweating, low blood pressure, visual problems, hallucinations, seizures, severe skin reactions, vomiting, or difficulty urinating occur, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor. In case of overdose, symptoms like hallucinations, seizures, nervous irritability, dizziness, and insomnia may occur; treatments such as gastric lavage or dialysis may be necessary. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children and stored in its original container, sealed in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Transferring to another container may risk misuse or deterioration of quality, so it must be stored in its original container.
