This medication is used for the treatment of hypertension, stable angina, and variant angina due to vasospasm, as well as other cardiovascular diseases. It helps to reduce the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients with established coronary artery disease without heart failure or with a left ventricular ejection fraction of 40% or more, and reduces the risk associated with coronary vascular procedures. Therefore, this medication is used to alleviate symptoms caused by myocardial ischemia and improve cardiovascular health.
