Effects in the treatment of hypertension and coronary artery disease (stable and variant angina) and reduction of hospitalization risk due to angina and risk of vascular procedures.
This medication is used for the treatment of hypertension, stable angina, and variant angina due to vasospasm, as well as other cardiovascular diseases. It helps to reduce the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients with established coronary artery disease without heart failure or with a left ventricular ejection fraction of 40% or more, and reduces the risk associated with coronary vascular procedures. Therefore, this medication is used to alleviate symptoms caused by myocardial ischemia and improve cardiovascular health.
Adults: 5 mg once daily orally, with a maximum increase to 10 mg per day based on the patient's response. Adjust appropriately according to age and symptoms.
