This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of a cold including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 years and older: Take 2 capsules three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.

Precautions

This medication can put stress on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist. Due to the ingredients in this medication, serious skin reactions such as skin rashes or blisters, and mucosal damage may occur rarely, so if there are any abnormal symptoms on the skin, the medication should be discontinued immediately. Since it contains acetaminophen, care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage, and it should not be taken in conjunction with other acetaminophen-containing medications. This medication contains pseudoephedrine, and if symptoms such as fever, skin rash, or small pustules occur, the medication should be discontinued and professional advice sought. Those who are allergic to this medication or its components, have experienced allergic reactions in the past, infants under three months old, those taking or recently stopping certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, and patients with uncontrolled hypertension should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication with cough suppressants or expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with specific allergies, as well as those with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid diseases, or the elderly, pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If abnormal symptoms such as skin rashes, vomiting, swelling, dizziness, or insomnia occur while taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and professional advice should be sought. In particular, if serious symptoms such as hives, difficulty breathing, severe skin damage, jaundice, cough with breathing difficulties, sudden headaches, or visual disturbances arise, the medication should be stopped immediately and consulting medical personnel is critical. For children under two years old, this medication should not be administered unless absolutely necessary and under a doctor's supervision. This medication must be taken as directed and should not be used for extended periods. Alcohol consumption should be avoided while taking this medication. Also, because drowsiness may occur, driving or operating machinery should be avoided, and caution should be exercised when taking with certain medications or alcohol.
