Haven Plus Nasal Spray

Adult use

For adults 12 years and older, spray once in each nostril 1 to 3 times a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms, ensuring not to exceed 3 times per day, and maintain an interval of at least 8 hours between doses.

Child use

For children 12 years and older, spray once in each nostril 1 to 3 times a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms, ensuring not to exceed 3 times per day, and maintain an interval of at least 8 hours between doses.

Do not use this medication in children under 12 years of age. People who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or any of its ingredients should not use it. Additionally, individuals taking or who have recently discontinued (within the last 2 weeks) certain antidepressants or antipsychotics such as MAO inhibitors should not use this medication. Before using this medication, those with allergic tendencies or who have experienced allergic reactions from medications previously should consult a doctor or pharmacist. It is also important for individuals with chronic conditions such as hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disease, or glaucoma to consult a healthcare professional. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and breastfeeding women should definitely consult healthcare providers prior to using this medication. People undergoing other treatments or experiencing persistent cough, asthma, or chronic bronchitis should also consult a healthcare professional before use. If allergic symptoms such as skin rash, swelling, or itching occur while using this medication, immediately discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after 3 days of use, be sure to consult a professional. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and dosing instructions; excessive use may worsen nasal congestion. It should be used only for the treatment of rhinitis and not applied directly to the eyes or ears. To prevent contamination, it is advisable not to share the product with others. Do not use continuously for more than 7 days. Drowsiness may occur while using this medication, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Avoid alcohol while using this medication. When using this medication in children, it should be done under the supervision of an adult. This medication contains benzalkonium chloride, which can cause irritation or swelling in the nasal cavity with prolonged use, and can rarely induce bronchospasm. Store in a place out of the reach of children, avoiding exposure to direct sunlight, and keep it in a cool, dry place. It is important not to transfer the medication to another container to maintain quality.

Drug interactions

This medication should not be used in conjunction with MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and antiparkinson agents) and preparations containing diphenhydramine and its salts.

Food interactions

Alcohol should be avoided while using this medication.

This medication may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it should be stored in a tightly sealed container. It is also advisable to store the medication at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C, avoiding very cold or hot areas.
