How to take

Adult dose

Adjust the dosage according to the patient's level of pain and treatment response. It is recommended to administer one tablet as the initial dose, with a minimum dosing interval of 12 hours. Do not exceed 4 tablets in one day. Regular monitoring should be conducted for long-term use. Side effects such as nausea, vomiting, itching, constipation, dizziness, and drowsiness may occur; therefore, patient responses should be closely monitored.

Precautions

This medication may cause liver damage, so those who regularly consume more than 3 drinks per day must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication or other analgesics. This medication can rarely cause serious skin reactions; therefore, if a rash or allergy symptoms occur after taking it, immediately stop taking it and inform a healthcare professional. The tramadol component in this medication can increase the risk of seizures, so patients with a history of seizures or at high risk for seizures should exercise special caution when taking it. Taking tramadol with certain antidepressants or other central nervous system depressants may increase the risk of seizures and respiratory depression, so it is essential to strictly follow the doctor's instructions when combining these medications. This medication can rarely cause life-threatening anaphylactic reactions, so if any hypersensitivity symptoms occur, seek medical attention immediately. Patients with acute and severe bronchial asthma may be at risk of respiratory depression when administered this medication; therefore, it should only be used in facilities equipped for professional monitoring and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. When taken along with alcohol or benzodiazepine medications, this medication can cause sedation and respiratory depression, which can lead to coma in severe cases; hence, extreme caution is necessary when concomitantly administered with these substances. Patients with elevated intracranial pressure or head injuries should be cautious when using this medication, as respiratory depression could further increase brain pressure. The tramadol in this medication can cause mental and physical dependence; therefore, long-term use should be considered for dependency risk based on a doctor's guidance. Patients with impaired liver function must consult a doctor before taking this medication and should ensure the total daily dose does not exceed 4,000mg when taking it alongside other acetaminophen-containing products. There is an increased risk of respiratory depression in ultra-rapid metabolizers of CYP2D6, so these patients should consider dose adjustments or alternative medications. This medication should not be administered to children under 12 years of age or to children under 18 years of age who have undergone tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy. This medication may cause hyponatremia; therefore, especially elderly patients or those with risk factors should regularly check their serum sodium levels. In cases of overdose, severe respiratory depression and liver damage can occur, so do not exceed the recommended dose, and if an overdose is suspected, seek medical assistance immediately. Drowsiness or dizziness may occur while taking this medication, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery during these activities. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a doctor before taking this medication, and nursing mothers should either discontinue breastfeeding or closely monitor their baby's condition while taking this medication.
