How to take
Adult dose
Typically, adults take 1 pouch (90mL) three times a day, 30 minutes after meals. It can also be taken after meals and, if necessary, at bedtime, with a recommended dosing interval of 4 hours.
Child dose
Ages 15 and older: 1 pouch (90mL) three times a day. Ages 11 to under 15: 2/3 pouch (approximately 60mL) three times a day. Ages 7 to under 11: 1/2 pouch (approximately 45mL) three times a day.
Precautions
This medicine can be burdensome to the liver, so individuals who consume more than three drinks of alcohol daily must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. As it contains acetaminophen, there is a rare possibility of severe skin allergic reactions; if symptoms such as skin rash or itching occur, stop taking it immediately. Care must be taken not to exceed 4,000mg of acetaminophen per day, and it should not be taken with other medications containing the same ingredient. People with a history of allergic reactions or asthma, infants under three months old, or those taking specific antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not take this medication. It is advisable to avoid other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines while taking this medication. Children suspected of having chickenpox or flu, those with allergies, or anyone with liver, kidney, or heart diseases should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If unusual symptoms such as skin rash, vomiting, dizziness, shortness of breath, or jaundice occur during treatment, stop taking the medication and consult a healthcare professional immediately. In principle, this medication should not be used in children under two years old, and if necessary, a doctor’s evaluation should be sought. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and frequency when taking this medication, avoid prolonged use, refrain from alcohol consumption, and avoid driving or operating machinery if drowsiness occurs.

Interactions
Drug interactions
This medication should not be taken with MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and antiparkinsonian drugs), cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Do not take this medication within two weeks after stopping MAO inhibitors. Also avoid treatment with diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, corticosteroids, barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, and loop diuretics.
Food interactions
This medication should not be taken with alcohol, potassium-containing preparations, licorice-containing preparations, glycyrrhizin or its salts.
