This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of cold such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, for adults (15 years and older) take 1 packet (bottle) (single dose) three times a day, 30 minutes after meals. If necessary, it may be taken at bedtime, with a dosage interval of 4 hours.

Precautions

This medication may burden the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a physician or pharmacist before use. The components in this medicine may rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if a rash or other unusual symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. As it contains acetaminophen, exceeding the maximum daily dosage may cause liver damage; thus, it should not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its components, or who have previously experienced asthma, infants under 3 months of age, or those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics should not use this medication. During use, it is safe not to take cough medicines, other cold medications, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines that are included in other medicines. Children who are suspected to have chickenpox or flu, individuals with allergic predisposition or previously experienced drug allergy symptoms, and those with chronic diseases such as liver or kidney diseases, hypertension, diabetes should definitely consult a specialist before taking. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, elderly individuals, and those with gastrointestinal diseases should also consult a physician before taking. If symptoms such as skin rash, itching, nausea, swelling, dizziness, dyspnea occur after taking, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. Immediate treatment is needed, especially if severe allergic reactions, skin mucosa symptoms, exacerbation of asthma, abnormal liver function, or pneumonia symptoms appear. Children under 2 years old should not take this medication, and if necessary, a doctor's consultation is required. During use, the prescribed dosage and frequency should be strictly adhered to, and long-term use should be avoided. Avoid alcohol while using, as drowsiness may occur; refrain from driving or operating machinery. Consult a specialist as interactions with certain drugs may increase adverse effects.

  • Sudden and severe headache, lightning headache, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances, paralysis

Rash, redness (erythema), itching, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling (edema), dysuria, persistent or severe thirst, dizziness, anxiety, trembling, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other products containing acetaminophen, MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson's drugs, etc.), cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Also, avoid concomitant use with barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, potassium-containing preparations, licorice-containing preparations, glycyrrhizin or its salts, loop diuretics (furosemide, etc.).

Food interactions

Do not consume alcohol while taking this medication.
