This process should be completed at least 1 hour before starting the colonoscopy.

During administration, if abnormal symptoms such as abdominal distension or abdominal pain occur, the dosage should be adjusted or stopped, and appropriate examination should be performed. While using this drug, bowel movements should be closely monitored to ensure proper bowel activity, and diarrhea may occur post-administration, so adequate hydration is necessary. Patients with heart disease or at risk for electrolyte imbalance should undergo ECG and blood tests to monitor their condition, and treatment should be combined as needed. This drug may interfere with the absorption of other oral medications, so it is advisable not to take other oral medications within 1 hour after administration. Additionally, the risk of gastrointestinal mucosal damage may increase when used with irritant laxatives, so co-administration should be avoided. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should use this medication cautiously as its safety has not been established, weighing the diagnostic need against potential risks. This medication has not been confirmed for safety and efficacy in children, hence it is not administered to them.
