Dosage

In severe cases, 600-1200 mg should be administered via intramuscular injection or intravenous infusion daily. In cases of treatment over several days or mild cases, 300-600 mg should be administered daily via intramuscular injection or intravenous infusion.

Precautions

This medication may rarely cause serious allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis, so the patient's condition should be carefully monitored during administration. If the face becomes pale, there is a drop in blood pressure, or there are pulse irregularities, use should be stopped immediately. Additionally, there may rarely be hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rash, so if these symptoms occur, the use of this medication should be discontinued. In the gastrointestinal system, decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain may occur rarely, so it is advisable to consult with medical staff if these symptoms appear. If repeated injections are required, the injection site should be changed, and special care should be taken, especially in children and adolescents.
