Efficacy & effects

Improvement of hypertension control in essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Essential hypertension is a condition characterized by persistently elevated blood pressure that burdens the cardiovascular system. Amlodipine and valsartan are medications that each work to dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure. However, if blood pressure is not adequately controlled with these medications alone, combination therapy or other treatment options may be considered. Therefore, this medication is used for the treatment of essential hypertension and effectively regulates blood pressure to improve cardiovascular health.
