Precautions

This medication can be harmful to the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. The acetaminophen component in this medication can rarely cause serious allergic reactions on the skin, so if unusual symptoms such as rash or itching appear, the medication should be stopped immediately, and a specialist consulted. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen is 4,000 mg, and exceeding this dose increases the risk of liver damage; therefore, do not take this medicine simultaneously with other medications containing acetaminophen. People who have experienced allergic reactions to this medication, those with a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, or those currently taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not take this medicine. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or genetic metabolic disorders should avoid taking it. While taking this medicine, it is safe not to take cough medications, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Those allergic to Yellow No. 4 dye should take this medication with caution. Children suspected of having had chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergies, or those with various diseases affecting the liver or kidneys, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women, must consult a specialist before taking this medication. If serious symptoms such as rash, vomiting, dizziness, breathing difficulties, or skin blistering occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years old, and in necessary cases, should be taken according to a doctor's instructions. When taking this medication, adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and frequency, avoid prolonged use, and refrain from alcohol consumption. This medication may reduce the effectiveness of acetaminophen when taken with barbiturates, certain antidepressants, or alcohol; caution is advised. Rarely, metabolic acidosis can occur when taken with certain antibiotics, so consult a specialist when using these drugs together. Store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place. Furthermore, it is important not to transfer this medication to another container to maintain its quality.
