Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to relieve moderate to severe acute and chronic pain.
Children over 12 years and adults: The dose should be adjusted based on the patient's level of pain and treatment response. A starting dose of 4 tablets is recommended, and the subsequent dosing interval should be at least 6 hours, not exceeding 16 tablets in one day. The lowest effective dose should be administered for the shortest duration possible. Avoid long-term use of this medication beyond necessary, and if prolonged administration is needed due to the characteristics and severity of the condition, regular monitoring should be conducted to confirm whether continued administration of this medication is warranted. Elderly Administer the typical adult dose. However, in elderly patients over 75 years, as the half-life of tramadol by oral administration increases by 17%, administer this medication with at least 6 hours intervals. Renal failure patients In moderately impaired renal patients (creatinine clearance of 10-30 ml/min), extend the dosing interval to 12 hours. In severe renal failure patients (creatinine clearance of less than 10 ml/min), administration is not recommended. Tramadol is removed very slowly during hemodialysis and filtration, so there is no need to re-administer this medication for pain relief after dialysis. Liver failure patients In moderately impaired hepatic patients, carefully consider extending the dosing interval for administration. In severe hepatic failure patients, this medication should not be administered.
Children over 12 years: Administer the same dose as adults. The dose should be adjusted based on the patient's level of pain and treatment response. A starting dose of 4 tablets is recommended, and the subsequent dosing interval should be at least 6 hours
