This medication is used to relieve throat pain, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain caused by a cold.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 1 tablet, three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.

Precautions

This drug can put a strain on the liver, so if you regularly consume more than three drinks a day, you must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. This medication can rarely cause severe skin reactions; if you notice unusual symptoms such as rash or itching, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional. Since the product contains acetaminophen, be careful not to exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000mg, and do not take it with other products containing acetaminophen. Those with a history of hypersensitivity or allergies, infants under 3 months of age, and those with certain hereditary lactose metabolism disorders should not take this medication. Additionally, if you are currently taking or have recently stopped certain medications, such as MAO inhibitors, you should not use this medication. It is also advisable to avoid taking this medication with cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Especially children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic tendencies, and individuals with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, as well as pregnant or nursing women, must consult a professional before taking. If symptoms such as skin rash, vomiting, dizziness, difficulty breathing, or jaundice occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a medical professional. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years of age, and if needed, medical consultation is required. Follow the prescribed methods of administration and dosage, avoid long-term use, and abstain from alcohol while taking this medication. Taking this medication together with barbiturates or tricyclic antidepressants may slow the body’s metabolism of acetaminophen, so caution is needed. Additionally, when taken with certain antibiotics, there can be a rare occurrence of metabolic acidosis, so consult a professional immediately in such cases.
