Adult dosage

Aged 15 and over: 2 capsules, 3 times a day

This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months old. Those who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or any of its ingredients should not take it. People taking MAO inhibitors, including antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, or anticholinergics, should not take this medication if they have taken these drugs within the past 2 weeks. During treatment, it is advisable not to take other cough medications, cold medications containing antihistamines, and sedatives. Individuals with a history of allergies or previous allergic symptoms such as rash or itching due to medications should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Individuals with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid problems, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, urinary difficulties, elderly individuals or those who are unwell should consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Pregnant or possibly pregnant women, as well as breastfeeding mothers, should definitely consult healthcare providers before taking this medication. Smokers, patients with asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, excessive phlegm, a cough lasting over a week, or cough accompanied by fever or rash should also consult a doctor before taking. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, urinary difficulties, persistent thirst, anxiety, tremors, or insomnia occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If after 5-6 doses the symptoms do not improve, stop taking the medication and consult with a doctor. Children under 2 years of age are advised against using this medication unless absolutely necessary, and only under a doctor's supervision. Adhere strictly to prescribed methods and dosages when taking this medication. For children under 7 years old, it is preferable to use syrup form instead of soft capsules. Alcohol should be avoided during treatment, and caution is advised when driving or operating machinery due to potential drowsiness. Store this medication out of reach of children, in a tightly sealed container, away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place. To prevent medication misuse, do not transfer to other containers.
