How to take

Adult dose

Valsartan 80 mg/Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg once daily, taken with a small amount of water regardless of meals. Dose adjustment is not required for patients with mild to moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance 30 mL/min or higher). Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus during pregnancy, so use must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. This medication can cause skin sensitivity to sunlight, so sun exposure should be minimized, and any new skin lesions should be reported to a doctor immediately. There are many medications that can interact with this one, so if you are taking any other medications, it is essential to inform your healthcare provider. Lactating women are advised not to take this medication, and its safety in pediatric patients has not been established. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as hypotension, electrolyte abnormalities, or muscle spasms may arise, requiring immediate medical attention.
