Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to relieve acute or chronic pain from moderate to severe levels.
Children aged 12 and older and adults: Dosage should be adjusted according to the severity of pain and therapeutic response. An initial dose of 2 tablets is recommended, after which doses should be spaced a minimum of 6 hours apart, not exceeding 8 tablets per day. It is preferable to use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. Elderly patients: Generally, normal adult dosage should be given. However, for patients older than 75, dosing intervals of at least 6 hours should be maintained.

This medication may cause liver damage in individuals who drink alcohol regularly, specifically more than three drinks a day, thus it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. If severe reactions such as rashes or blisters appear during treatment with this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and medical personnel should be informed. The ingredients in this medication may cause seizures, so patients with a history of seizures or those at risk should use it with caution. Rarely, serious allergic reactions may occur while taking this medication. Symptoms such as difficulty breathing or hives necessitate an immediate visit to the hospital. Patients with severe respiratory diseases such as asthma may experience difficulty breathing when using this medication and should do so under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Taking this medication with alcohol or central nervous system depressants such as sedatives may result in severe drowsiness or respiratory depression; therefore, it is advisable not to combine them. Patients with head injuries or brain diseases should be cautious as this medication may increase intracranial pressure. This medication can cause psychological and physical dependence, thus it should be used under a doctor's guidance for prolonged periods. Patients with impaired liver function must consult a doctor before taking this medication, and caution should be exercised to ensure that the total daily dosage does not exceed 4,000 mg. In particular, patients with a fast metabolic rate of genes should strictly follow the doctor's instructions as the active ingredient of this medication may act more quickly in the body, increasing the risk of respiratory depression. This medication should not be used in children under 12 years old or in adolescents under 18 years of age post certain surgeries, and special caution is required for patients in these age groups. Patients with sleep apnea or at risk for hypoxia must periodically check for worsening symptoms after taking this medication, considering dose adjustments or discontinuation if necessary. This medication may cause hyponatremia, thus elderly patients or those with risk factors should have their serum sodium levels checked regularly. This medication may interact with certain drugs; therefore, if other medications are being taken, it is essential to inform the doctor or pharmacist. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a doctor before taking this medication, while nursing mothers should avoid it for safety reasons. Drowsiness or dizziness may occur with this medication; therefore, it is advisable to avoid driving or performing hazardous tasks.
