Summary

Main use
Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
Who takes it
Adults · Children
Adult dose
For children aged 12 and older and adults: The dosage is adjusted according to the degree of pain and therapeutic response. The initial recommended dose is 2 tablets, thereafter the dosing interval should be at least 6 hours, not exceeding 8 tablets per day. The lowest effective dose should be administered for the shortest duration possible. Ensure that this medication is not used for longer than necessary, and in cases where prolonged use is required due to the nature or severity of the condition, regular monitoring should be conducted to determine the need for continued administration of this medication. Elderly Administer the standard adult dosage. However, in elderly patients over 75 years of age, the elimination half-life of tramadol is increased by 17% when administered orally, therefore, the medication should be given at intervals of at least 6 hours. Patients with renal failure In moderately impaired renal function (creatinine clearance of 10-30 mL/min), extend the dosing intervals to 12 hours. In patients with severe renal failure (creatinine clearance of less than 10 mL/min), the use of this medication is not recommended. Since tramadol is eliminated very slowly during hemodialysis and filtration, there is no need to readminister the medication after dialysis to maintain analgesic effect. Patients with liver failure For patients with moderate liver failure, carefully consider extending the dosing intervals. Do not administer this medication to patients with severe liver failure.
