Summary

Main use
Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
Who takes it
Adults · Children
Adult dose
Children aged 12 and older and adults: The dosage should be adjusted according to the patient's level of pain and treatment response. A starting dose of 4 tablets is recommended, and subsequent doses should be at least 6 hours apart, but not exceeding 16 tablets per day. The lowest effective dose should be administered for the shortest duration necessary. Avoid prolonged use of this medication beyond what is required, and if long-term treatment is needed due to the nature and severity of the condition, regular monitoring should be carried out to assess the continuous use of this medication. Elderly Administer the usual adult dosage, but for elderly patients aged 75 and older, when taking tramadol orally, the half-life of tramadol can increase by 17%, thus doses should be spaced at least 6 hours apart. Patients with renal impairment For patients with moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance of 10-30 mL/min), extend the dosing interval to 12 hours. For patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance below 10 mL/min), use of this medication is not recommended. Tramadol is removed very slowly during dialysis and filtration, so there is no need to re-administer the medication after dialysis to maintain analgesic effects. Patients with hepatic impairment For patients with moderate hepatic impairment, carefully consider extending the dosing interval. This medication should not be administered to patients with severe hepatic impairment.
